The main development stages starting from its creation

1866 Creation of the Grand transport company by the Grand brothers.

1881 After 15 years of activity, the Grand transport company has 16 European branch offices and a very consistent services offer.

1890 Grand in MILAN has a mobile horse park which houses more than 350 horses.

1919 Based on the growing success, the Grand brothers are forced to transform the little family-owned company into a public transport company Grand Frères.

The between war period helped develop different companies in the group :

– S.N.T. FRATELLI Grand, in ITALY,
– S.A.I.T. Grand Frères ein SWITZERLAND,
– S.F.T. Grand Frères, in FRANCE, BELGIUM and ENGLAND

1950 Development continues and the Grand transport company is bought by Mr. Arthur Houart.

1966 On its hundred year anniversary, Grand was made up of a vast network including 270 branches throughout the world, and it continues with its diversification in the transport and logistics areas.
